Vietnam Highlights: Hanoi, Halong Bay and Ho Chi Minh City

This 10-day Vietnam itinerary links the country’s main city and coastal highlights with time in the historic center of Hoi An and the Mekong Delta. It starts in Hanoi, continues to an overnight cruise in Halong Bay, and then follows the central coast before ending in Ho Chi Minh City. In Hanoi, the program includes the Ho Chi Minh complex, the Temple of Literature, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Hoan Kiem Lake. Halong Bay is covered on an overnight cruise with meals on board and a visit to the bay’s caves. In Hoi An, there is time in the old town, a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Carpentry Village, and a half-day visit to My Son Sanctuary. The final section focuses on southern Vietnam.
